literature on programs to prevent teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and associated sexual risk behaviors.
Findings have been used to inform two new federal policy initiatives aimed at supporting evidence-based approaches
to teen pregnancy prevention. This research brief highlights six key lessons from the review, intended to help
the growing number of organizations and federal agencies considering similar policy-driven reviews.
